I wanted to make an anime portrait for a long time, when I while watching " Rurouni Kenshin" suddenly saw a screen shot that was made in a completely different style then the rest. It had a different air, the character looked much sharper and much deeper in it. That was something I wanted to paint. And I did it as best as I could... some animefans might still recognize it : )
The most surprising part is, that the "look" reminds me of a certain person. (my best friends mother aka Rhyzhik :) Don't you think so, Melamori?
